    TEP (Tetra Extraction Process) is a modern method of obtaining active plant compounds using 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane. Thanks to its low boiling point (−26.3 °C), the extraction takes place at very low temperatures, significantly limiting oxidation and preserving the maximum amount of active ingredients. Compared to standard steam distillation, TEP ensures higher extract purity and quality.
